Our Mission
The mission of this market is to create a more localized food system, to be a community node and to promote regenerative agriculture.
Our Vision
Regenerative work asks us to imagine Murray Hill embodying natural beauty, ecological health and an abundant capacity beyond the standards we have become accustomed to.
As a community, we work to achieve food sovereignty and regenerate our land to create a more resilient Murray Hill neighborhood.
Core Values
Sustainability: Awareness of our impact on the environment is crucial. We ask and expect that participants continually make a conscious effort to work with nature rather than against it, prioritizing sustainability over convenience. We hope to see creativity moving forward, aiming to produce less waste and minimize plastic usage.
Food Sovereignty: Food Sovereignty is the right to local, healthy food. It suggests a smaller food system in which the people who produce, distribute and consume food are at the heart of the food system rather than larger corporations. This only works, however, if the people want to be more connected to their food.

“The most globally important sustainability projects undertaken in the world today are conceived and executed by local actors at the local level. The reason is simple: a single, particular place is the only scale at which the interface between people and natural systems is immediate and accessible.”
